Oh My!!...I have SO loved reading this thread I've been awake since 4am, cramp in my calf catapulted me out of nice warm bed ...not quite the "Hot bed" as mentioned on the thread though....lol....the only hot bed I know of is when the electric blankets switched on...but this thread has had me spraying my morning cuppa everwhere....

I'm a newbie to GYO but would love to join in the with the Companion Planting group if I may.

I live in Nottinghamshire, 60 years young but "GoingToSeed", I'm amicably divorced for past 9 years and have to admit I do get a bit bored every now and again in between my revived passion and chance of gardening again after many years, so would love to "chat" to friends on here, I will put my pic on (taken about 4yr ago) I HATE having pics taken, I look so unnatural, this one I look like a startled rabbit, but its the only one I can just about tolerate seeing...

    Have great day everyone!

I've just pm'd Zaz, asking to keep the beginning info and the most recent stuff. Also asked if we can have it stickied. Agree it would be a good idea if it brings in more friends

Thanks LL. How's the weather with you? We've just had the Gardening Club Plant Fair and it was pretty miserable. Lots of local plant producers there but I couldn't work up much enthusiasm to buy - apart from the cakes! Ooh Look there's one mini Lemon Drizzle cake left - would you like it?

Hi Thelma - you deserve that little cake after painting the kitchen. Wish I'd bought some more and we could all have had a tea party! Earl Grey anyone?

Sorry, I got a bit carried away and deleted the latest page before our discussion on trimming the thread down!

Erm, as you were... or something!

Oi! Just cos I was off doing something else! Now I've missed the CAKE

Weather here is really grim. Went to a car boot sale first thing - bought two Danielle Steel novels at 10p each for my bedtime reading. Luckily they moved the boot sale into the village hall or we would all have been soaked!

Then drove to check parking was still ok for the walk I'm leading for our group on Saturday (please, please can we have some dry weather and sunshine!)

I'll have some Early Grey tea though please.
Glad to see you've all got stuck in on this new thread already!
                        Welcome back everyone
