I could - we've just done our next programme which takes us to the end of September though. But a group of friends might be interested in going over there. I'll give it some thought - can't do anything about it this coming week as I'm off to Weymouth to stay with a friend from Monday to Friday. Hope the weather stays dry!

Yeah, hopefully it's not going away soon My friends do so many different things it's hard for us all to get a time fixed for anything so I have to start suggesting stuff early!

Is there a "best" time to go do you reckon?

And I too hope the weather improves for Weymouth next week - a fortnight ago they were swimming in the sea! What a change.

Nope - but I am still alive, I met up with 8 different old friends during the course of the day and that is a nice record. I also met a new baby girl of 14 weeks. I am better at the 18 monther I have to say.

And what about you VC - have you got back safely to house No 1 near Cardiff? Any storm damage? None here thankfully despite the lashing rain and gales. My friend in Weymouth has had a big tree blown down right outside her block of flats - they had to come and cut it down so the residents could get out of the car park!

I stayed on another day here. Seemed pointless to drive down the M4 when the traffic reports were so bad. If there's one thing I don't like its driving the motorway at 30mph or 50mph!
Very wet and gusty here but the treehouse has stayed put!! When there are white horses on the river I know its rough out there!!

Should be a calmer day tomorrow to drive up the M4 - it's even supposed to be dry with some sunshine! We will see. Have a safe journey - I'm off shortly for an early night. Tomorrow I'm going to a workshop to learn how to make a straw hat - that should be a laugh!

I'll probably come back tomorrow - check that the trees are still standing and the house has a roof!

Hi Guys, sorry I've not been about. The last few weeks have been so hectic. My three days a week of work are often five, finishing at 2:30 on a Friday so I can get to school to run Eco Club at 3:30. Then being both a Governor and Chair of PTA, many meetings in the evenings, the annual Summer Fayre is coming up and we're so behind with everything. That, and running the house and two lotties isn't leaving much internet time.
Still loving my work, just wishing for a few extra hours in a day.
Hope you're all well. Have I missed anything exciting? xxx

Hi Di - thought you'd gone and left us! But it just sounds as if you're mega-busy what with work and lottie etc. Glad you're enjoying work, that's a big bonus.
What have you missed? Don't know where to start - certainly all the fun in VC's wood (when you ever get time, read all the pages on the thread - it was a laugh). VC will tell you more about that I expect.
Lottiedolly had the wedding yesterday, so we will be hearing all about it very soon.
Bigmallly is MoM of the month (about time!).
Rain has stopped play for a few days at my lottie - I will have to get up there this afternoon while it's sunny as I'm off next week staying with a friend in Weymouth and will have to tidy it up a bit before I go.
Lots more but others will have to fill you in on those things - have to get ready to go out now. Nice to see you back with us though, Di.

What have you missed? Good question! Nobody has admitted to anything on the Companionship front although there was a little activity in Tina's part of the world, but we have heard no more. Hint, Hint!!
I'm so pleased that you're enjoying your work, even if it has taken over your life. At least, you're not nagging me into doing housework now
