You gave me some advice on adhesives a couple or three years ago MBM which worked great thanks.

I had a lay off from boats last year to concentrate on my gardening so haven't been on MBM of late, however I am getting the itch again.

When I left school I trained and qualified as a riding school instructor, then spent the next 20 years managing a small private pony stud. Crap pay, crap hours, but the job of my dreams!

Turned 40 and reality kicked in - no pension, no savings, no money, no prospects.

Learnt to sail and went sailing for a few months - thought I'd be idyllically happy spending the rest of my life as a sea gypsy (in warmer climes, you understand), but a bad ear infection left me deaf in one ear, and more importantly boosted my occasional sea queasiness to full blown sea-sickness in the slightest of seas.

So for the last 10 years or so I've worked in a bakery that produces (the best) pork pies - not the perfect job, but it pays the bills.

Evening all - long time no talk .
Groundsman by day - Monday to Friday , HGV driver Friday nights to Sunday morning ( 4 weekends out of 5 ) - now you know why I don't get on here much.
