I didn't think you could have a water summit, I always thought it found its own level.

Never test the depth of the water with both feet

The only reason people get lost in thought is because it's unfamiliar territory....

I love to use fresh water each time I make tea - I don't reboil water but try to only boil what I need each time. Any left over is kept for watering plants.

Has anyone noticed the number of people these days who have* two or three showers a day? Also, people who wash clothes after wearing them for just a couple of hours or three.

Save water - shower less often.

              *Or say they have

We have had constant heavy rain for the last 24 hours and it is forecast to continue for the next 5 days. Maybe thats why Severn Trent have offered to sell Anglian Water some.

my water rates in middlesex was £17 per month that was it, for 3 bed semi 2 adults one child, back in sarf east kent i pay over £30 per month for both waters in a 2 bed flat, 2 adult 2 kids, thing is i know for deffinate i used a lot more water in middlesex than i do down here,

its like with the energy bill its the service charges that increase not so much the taffifs

We are quite water aware to, blimin last year because tennants downstairs were not paying for water avoiding the bills for some reason i ended up paying for theirs as well, im always checking my meter usage

water companies dont like my mum she uses well below aveage for one person, when she rang for ideas to save more they said she doesnt use enough, she gets discount as all the downpipes have a water butts now, her bill is about £7 per month
