I know a number of you out there have organised seeds swaps in the past, and I would be very grateful if you could read through my plan and suggest anything I've missed. This is for the plotholders of our allotments. We have 51 plots, but I haven't had many replies to say if people can come. However I've tried to make it as smooth sailing as possible in anticipation of everyone coming (we had a general meeting to discuss activities, development of the site etc. and only 6 plots plus committee members turned up)
Venue booked for the swap. (In the local pub, plotholders always buy drinks so they don't charge us)
Invitations stating time, place and seed equivalents if people want to split packets (plagarised from the Virtual Seed Swap suggestions ) sent out via email, and put on Facebook.
Bank of seeds already packaged from my own seed box, so early attendees have a choice.
Notices for different seed 'families' printed and laminated. To be placed on different tables to space people out round the restaurent area.
Notices asking for a donation to funds if people want something but don't have a swap.
Small envelopes, sellotape and pens for those who don't split their seeds before coming.
What do you think? Anything else I should do?
