Twenty-Eight Years.....

I'm with you 100% Alison. Not sure I could ever cope, let alone be bothered with dating again. And the bench mark would be high....don't even want to contemplate some (relatively) strange guy seeing me in the buff. Noooo, let's not go there....

We've got to the stage where we finish each other sentences and we just know we're thinking along the same lines most times. You know that bit where you just exchange looks and it's enough to know what's going on in the other's head.

We will be 48 years married at the end of this year and together 3 years before that. A lifetime together and I wouldnt want to change it.

It'll be our 25th this year ........bit of a whirlwind romance. He moved in after 2 weeks and we got married about 18 months after ....These days they seem to plan weddings bout three years in advance

I know Bins, and don't they cost a fortune too. I seem to remember that ours cost about £250 for the hall and we catered ourselves (BH was a chef) I made my own dresses, and the two bridesmaids and bought the flower girls' dresses from Mothercare in the sales!

My MinL said she would pay for our week's honeymoon and, as we married in winter, we wanted some snow so she said Switzerland. She sent off my SinL to book it, SinL (nasty piece) decided we needed sun and booked us a week in Cyprus in Ayia Napa. We don't do clubbing so she thought that was hilarious.......few years later we found out that MinL had given her £3k to book the Swiss honeymoon and SinL spent about £360 on Cyprus and pocketed the rest. We did enjoy Cyprus but still.....

LOL yeah, one of my SinL's is a real....ahem....madam. Both of BH's sisters are spoiled rotten, thankfully his parents ignored him so he was allowed to turn out his own self.
