As a commune we'd pool all our books and read each others!

This whole idea has sent my senses in a wonderful spin!!... living in a commune within own village, your own little home to retreat to at night, the peace and beauty living in mother nature, taking care of her how it should be! being self sufficient, no rat race.......and eating all that health giving food that wont be riddled with chemicals etc etc etc...........and have you ever been in rural France and looked up at the millions of glittering stars! now that was spectacular to me when I was at my Sisters! it took my breath away, made me cry....I know I know! I'm a soppy old thing who needs to get out more .... but in all my 60 yrs I have never seen a sky like that here in UK, apart from Scotland which came pretty close, I love Scotland too, but a tad tooo cold for me now with these old bones ...........and now I've had my little morning dream of what life could be like I will now get back to doing what needs to be done....flipping house work!! ...Oh yeah! and wait fr that lottery win!!

A friend of mine has just bought a house not far from Limoges and is moving out there in June. Maybe I could surprise her by buying the village and then turning up as her new neighbour!!

I could help there, I'm cycling for about 2 hours a day on the exercise bike at the moment.
I'm only here cos I got on the wrong bus.

Much as I love you lot, I'm not sure I'd want to live in such close proximity to you

It will need some serious work done to get it back up to scratch, but certainly a bargain for whoever can afford it.

Wonder who (if anyone) has bought it today?

Not me! Perhaps it won't sell and they'll give it to a good cause (like us).

Yes, that would be great - we ARE a very good cause and we'd turn it into Paradise
