We are all learning. I realised that I know nothing, but then....THINGS WANT TO GROW despite my ineptitude.

      Sit back and enjoy.

I always look on gardenjng as an experiment with at least two chances, often to much information is at hand and you do nothing, often the info on the back of the seed packet is as good as any, and a keen pair of eyes to see what others are up to will help.
Most gardeners will be happy to help and pass on advise

                Hi Percy T,

I am also in Croydon. I'll PM you. In the mean time - trust in nature, all those seeds want to grow, quick, easy crops that give satisfying results - beans, spinach, kale, leeks. If you are new to your lottie you will probably be inundated with advice and offers of help and plantlets, I know I was!

                Good luck

                Terry
The weeks and the years are fine. It's the days I can't cope with!
