The clocks spring forward tonight - the countdown has ended
It's tomorrow when the day officially becomes longer than the night, and already the sky is lightening as I leave for work. This time next week it will be dark again. Sigh...

Reason: grammar, spelling... :D
It was considerably lighter this morning, but I don't mind sacrificing that while I'm at work for the gardening time when I get home.
I hadn't thought of it that way, FF. That's being happy the glass is half full, that is, instead of miserable (like me) that the glass is half empty. You've cheered me up, so you have. Thanks!

Now you know that in about 10 days you won't even notice its been darker in the mornings....
.... and you'll still be able to appreciate the elongated evenings.
So on Sunday what time will it be going dark...about 7.30pm?
Can't really get excited about it as I go to lottie in the mornings before work. Finish at 6pm. so it's still going to be a good while before I can enjoy evenings there. When I can stay there till gone 9.30pm or start before 6am I'll be happy.
However that doesn't mean I don't appreciate spring and all the little green things in my conservatory. They are quite simply, my babies!
