top half of a 2 litre plastic Coke bottle, minus cap, used as a funnel. wide end is big enough to get a decent scoop of compost in, cap end is small enough to catch any big bits in your compost that your seedlings won't appreciate. Stick cap end in loo roll/ roottrainer/ pot and shake to sprinkle compost in. And the other half of the bottle makes a mini cloche.
