my final comment on this before i got off to bed: when you do the job (voluntary) i do, and you see the things i see, most people wouldnt care less who is going out with who, who is married to who, who is attracted to who, as long as those two people are happy and in love and there is no one beating or belittling or threatening or victimizing (or i honestly could go on with the stories and situations) the other person. I see and hear some of the most horrendous sights and things at work within hetrosexual; bisexual; homosexual relationships, granted mainly hetrosexual relationships that honestly, if this is what marriage means to some people then its a frightening world.

Good night you lovely people - peace out. xx

        Well done Di, brave girl

I am a Christian, I believe in God, go to church sometimes.......God loves me, I heard tell he loves everybody.

My marriage is my business, anyone elses marriage is theirs. Thankfully I am NOT God so it is not my job to judge the rights or wrongs of anyone elses choices.

I don't think any Vicar should be compelled to perform a ceromony that is against their conscience however.

Yes the bible says that same sex sexuality is a sin, it also says that eating shellfish is an abomonation, Leviticus ch11 v12.

No vicar should be forced, but should that same vicar be allowed to judge, even if they don't intend?
the fates lead him who will;him who won't they drag.

No they shouldn't judge, but it's not a perfect world. Now I am judging the Vicars......See? its all getting complicated again

A marriage is between people of the opposite sex, so that they can have the stability to stay together and raise children. The law gives them rights over each other, because bringing up children is very important.
So a mixed race marriage is just the same; two people of the same sex is different.

I would like to say something on a serious note.

The last turn I ever expected my life to take is the turn it took, I just met someone that I had an instant attraction to and fell in love. Sadly, things went a little wrong, she's used to a carefree life, not a kiddie filled one. Then comes the PMT...as my vicar said to me, any woman that would 'choose' to be gay is out of her mind! (it's bloomin' hard work!). I didn't make a conscientious decision, I'm not following a trend (can think of far easier ones)....I just fell in love. One of the biggest reasons that it failed was how much it hurt my parents. Sat around the Christmas table and my Big sis being 'mocked' about how many texts she was getting from her new (number six or seven) man....my DS, dares to mention 'her' name and what she got him for Christmas, causing a deadly silence, followed by a swift change of subject.....I fell in love. I didn't set out to hurt feelings.

I really would like an answer to why my love is so bad, so bad that it's worse than any of the ten commandments? It's not even so bad as to figure in those! God is love............
