  • up at a&e all afternoon with bootsy!!

She was playing power rangers with the boys, and she jumped off a little bridge slipped and hit her head on a tree stump. She is sporting a great big egg on her head.

She's got a bit of concussion and has managed to wangle a day off school, which she is very happy about because her new bed arrives tomorrow and she wantedt o be here for its arrival!!!

Hope Bootsy is OK. A bang on the bonce is a small price to pay for a day off school. Didn't know Power Rangers where still in vogue.
It is the doom of man, that they forget.

They do put you through hoops BM! Mine weren't too bad for accidents although we did have to do a 60 mile hospital dash once with a bleeding eyeball (sword fighting with the tubes from the wendy house frame)

Glad she's ok and I'm sure the new bed will cheer her up!

Little pet. Does'nt it just break your heart when your little ones get hurt. So glad to hear she's ok and has'nt she earned a day off.

Someone is likely to feel my wrath tomorrow - she said to me at the hospital that she had also hurt her 'minni' (her lady bits) and there was a little bruise there, but ive looked tonight and i kid you not she is black and blue both there and her head. It seems when she slipped on the bridge she has banged her lady bits on the edge of the bridge and her head on the stumpy thing. She told the teacher who said it was a bit red but there was no mention of it in the accident report, its that bruised im surprised she didnt do herself some serious damage.

Dont get me wrong im not a neurotic mother that complains about everything - my friends say that not only am i strict, im not at all over protective, but honestly the poor little mite is bruised - the bruising is coming out in her eyes now too im going to ring the headteacher tomorrow and tell her about the further injury as that needs to go on the accident report too, and im going to tell her im not happy that this has happened - i know accidents happen i understand that but the balance stumps shouldnt be in such close proximity of the bridge. Maybe im just being a little to angry and need a glass of wine?
