Also Beechgrove Potting Shed came back earlier this month - which often has Beechgrove presenters on the panel.

Was anyone else puzzled by the pruning of a plum tree when it was dormant. Thought that was a definite no to avoid silver leaf. Perhaps I missed the point and it wasn't a plum?

he said it was budding, which presumably means that it was no longer dormant................

Yes, I agree with Thelma, the plum tree was budding. I looked at it carefully so I could do the same with my damson tree. Just managed to watch the programme on iPlayer - I love it, lots about fruit and veg. Wonder what Gardeners World will be up to tonight?

Have discovered I can get it on my catch up TV via my V+ box so watched it yesterday lunchtime. Not seen it before and was expecting something really amazing. It was OK but I thought it was a bit old fashioned in some ways and was surprised to discover that it covered ornamental stuff too. Will watch next week to see what they do then.

Not seen last night's GW yet (series linked) but have noticed in the latest TV mag that next week Monty is working on a veg patch at Longmeadow so fingers crossed it'll have more than the usual 2 mins of grow your own

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?
