My Court case against the Local Council on Thursday morning. I normally count the number of remaining sleeps until an important event but I'm counting down the number of nights I'll be wakening up worrying at the edges of every aspect trying to think what rabbit the Council can possibly pull out of the hat that may result in me losing my plots.
My better half rightly tells me I could just have paid up or walked away. Not in my nature if I think I'm correct and anyway, over 200 people had their rents increased by £20 because I asked that half plot rents be reduced to half of their new full plot rent. You may say " that's a further increase". You would be right. They increased the rents of full sized plots so that it was then exactly twice the new rent for their half plots.
Hopefully the Sheriff will fix on that unfairness as a key indicator. I certainly want that responsibility off my conscience.
