Typical local authority having holes in its own procedures yet still trying to enforce them. To a very small degree, I can see why the council had tried to recoup some extra bucks from all of its service users, but the manner of doing so with a huge increase followed by another is z draconian measure.
Appeal hearing reconvenes Wednesday 20th March at 10.30am.

Hi Matey, appeal hearing resumes on Tuesday 23rd April. It was looking really good when it was adjourned last time so I'm hoping this can finally be put to bed but not even thinking about counting chickens.

Right guys. At resumed hearing today, despite everything that was said by the Sheriff Principal at the last hearing, he rejected my appeal and I will have to surrender my allotments.
The bottom line is that in Scotland, a Local Authority can give 12 months notice to an allotment tenant for no reason irrespective of how far they are in the wrong about rent and about any other factors.
I'm lost for words Ap - printable words But have a Big ((((((Hug))))) anyway.
Is there any way that you can give in gracefully and retain your allotments?
