Hey not all of us live darn sarf, to use the bridge would be one hell of a long and pointless drive as oppose to going just past Chester and OMG I'm in another country. Wouldn't call the A55 a backroad either

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

Croeso Alison! We only have one teeny bit of motorway so its a bit special. Truth is, some of us go over the toll bridge into England (free) and back through Gloucester to avoid the bridge and paying!

Now that DOES sound like a back road route!
