I know one surefire way to stay warm at night when camping......if my memory is correct!
Light a fire........

No idea, never been camping but everyone seems to light a fire.......

Well the BBC are showing a rise in temp for monday so far to 6 degrees, its still 3 or 4 off where I would like it to be.
Our daughter has a 4 season sleeping bag and I'm happy she'll be warm enough sleeping, its that early evening gap once the sun has gone down I'm concerned about, and the keeping warm waiting for dad to make breakfast.
My preferred way of keeping warm when camping is to make sure you aren't chilled before you get into the sleeping bag! (that was my mistake at Vinstock) OR take a furry hot water bottle with you (dog is best, if the right size) if all else fails.
Most times we've camped we haven't lit fires, we usually cook on one of those funny little gas cookers!
Flowers come in too many colours to see the world in black-and-white.
Oh dear, Mikey, I hope you're not complaining . I did promise a few extra showers today for the sake of your seedlings and I don't like to go back on promises.
The warm weather is on its way.....
The BBC and the Met Office - what do they have to do with the controlling the weather? This is MoM's work
I'll turn up the thermostat but may need to keep the sprinkler on in case of bushfires.

You are right VC, they predicted light rain showers for my golf day at Celtic Manor Wednesday, it went all the way around us but not a drop overhead. Muppetry.
Knowing what a curious lot you are I thought I should reveal the contents of my Goodie Box that I had yesterday - especially as I only received it because of all (well some) of you lovely people out there.
Seeds, Floral scissors, Gardener's hand cream, DVD on Keeping chickens, Sudoku for Garden Lovers and a beautiful book "An Artist in the Garden".
Reading the list back it seems that someone thinks I should become a bit more ladylike!!
My sincere thanks to the GYO team, the Mods and all of you for being so supportive during my MoMship! Now for a quick Sudoku with coffee.....
Over to you Taff
