You want a bigger chicken coop, but how about more chickens?

And for smaller items, gardening gloves; secatueurs; seeds!

    Congratulations! Enjoy your day

Many congratulations from me!...very pleased for you both

Have you set your date yet?

Pressie-wise I'd go with garden centre vouchers too...and a packet of seeds of their choice. That way you have a gift from them to unwrap ( always nice to unwrap a surprise) which they have chosen, but then you get the fun of choosing the rest ....also you get to grow their chosen gift which they will be pleased to see/come and eat with you!

Glad you have found a lovely lass who shares your hobby!

If you compiled this list together, you are SO-O-O-O meant to be together!
What about fruit trees? As your marriage grows, so will the trees.
          Congratulations!

Fruit trees would be a lovely wedding gift

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

                Congratulations from me too FG!

Symbolically how about nut tree....oh that probably sounds wrong!!

What I meant was that when getting married you used to hand out sugared almonds as symbols of union and fertility, so how about an almond tree?

                Thats what I mean, honest!

I think vouchers are the best idea. That way your guests won't have to go through all the deliberations of what brand? What type? What size? and so on.

When our son and dil got married they had been together for years and had already bought a house together and they asked for some kind of travel vouchers they could use on their honeymoon. We just gave them a wad to pay for the honeymoon.

                    Congratulations.

I'd suggest adding a few smaller/pretty things to the list for people that like to give a gift....it's not all about you, you know Maybe things like garden lanterns or plaques for the garden.

I like Nicos' idea of a packet of seeds too.

no date set yet .... will be next year tho as her son needs to save up to get back from oz and it'll take time to plan and organise it all ....

her ladyship has already bought a cherry and a peach tree .... we'll be getting another cherry and an apricot soon .... doubt we'll have room for any more (already have plum, apple, cooking apple and pear) ....

and thinking about it .... we'll probably have most of the stuff on the list before the wedding ....

Vouchers make sense, but if you also plan a 'wedding border' those who want to can add a packet of seeds for that, then you have a more-or-less permanent reminder of the 'big day', and it offers a 'personal' feel for the givers.

Personally I like the idea of getting your orchard together with different trees... the old romantic in me, agree with creemteez
