Glasgow Rangers being made to pay the price for spending money they did not have to the detriment of the other Scottish Premier league clubs. sad for their supporters though.

Anyway, the banter. A coin was thrown on to the field at a recent Rangers game. The police didn't do anything about it because it could have been a take over bid.

You should worry Bigmally, am a lifelong Ipswich fan - trouble is England keep stealing our managers just when we get good, first Ramsey then Robson....and then not a lot to cheer about in the last 30 years since, except a brief spell in the Prem under Burley 10 years ago.

Debt, administration, player fire sales, and now the plaything of a billionaire who knows so little about football he brings a bloke in to run the club who's used to run the GB Olympic team, Simon Clegg. He knows nothing about contract negotiation and refuses to pay the wages to get good players in, so the type of "players" we get are just stopping by for a year or so on the way to the retirement home, or non-league numpties who are pleased with a contract involving a complimentary club bicycle and all the jam sandwiches they can eat.

Yes I am frustrated, especially when the scum up in Norfolk seem to be coping ok with life in the Premiership, whose every move we hear about on an hourly basis via the horrendously biased local tv programme Look "if it doesn't happen within 3 miles of Norwich we're not covering the story" East.

Even the fact that some young lad had revealed the design of Norwich's shirt for next season 2 days ahead of the actual launch was headline news. Brilliantly mocked by the Daily Mash though.

That's how it seems to be going these days Vince, it's all about money & not the pride of wearing the shirt. While ever we have got Bates, I'm afraid we are going nowhere. I admit he has to balance the books but fans pay good money & deserve better. I think the only club that have had relative success & good business sense this season have got to be Newcastle. A great piece of work getting rid of Carol & a masterstroke in bringing in Demba Ba & Cisse.

Just how many clubs are in financial trouble?

Instead of paying a fortune for good players why can't they raise their own. Is it like politicians that don't have long term effective plans...they might be ousted before plans come to fruition?
