That was my life before I met Mr TS 5 years ago, except I couldn't afford a TV (or heating or a computer, or a dog). That's how many very many single people on benefits live every day. I couldn't go back to it. You get more money if you have kids, but if you're single: it's really cr@ppy.]


Good luck with the renovations. We had to replace all the carpets here (flea infested) and the boiler, that was bad enough. The bath & cooker are broken, but I can't face any more builder types for at least another 5 years
