Euphorbia allotment on GW

I think I tend to agree with you, Alison. My idea (rightly or wrongly) of an allotment is to grow vegetables and perhaps to keep a few chickens on there. Since lotties are at such a premium nowadays then it does seem to be a bit unfair to use your lottie space just to grow one kind of flower/plant (however unique) when others are just desperate to grow food crops.

Perhaps I'm wrong and that if you pay for your plot then you should be entitled to grow anything on it (within reason) but that seems to be going against the spirit of allotmenteering IMHO.

also regardless of rules etc euphorbia are so UGLY....i consider them as weeds ...why do people like Carol Klein gloat over them?
There were one or two slightly prettier ones ...red leaves etc but blah...waste of space.
