  • Stoopid Dreams (or are they?)

Where do they come from?.........I woke this morning gutted that my dream wasn't real. Due to the awful weather, I decided to go down to the lottie at midnight as it was calm and quiet, opened the lottie gates and worked happily away. There were plenty of other holders there...the best thing was..........it was under floodlight...

Don't start me on dreams! That's where I have some of my best adventures.
Its also when I design my best, award winning items, that always work in my dreams but I can never remember how in the morning!
If I can't remember my dreams in the morning I always feel disappointed.

I once dreamt I was hanging out the washing and one of the Koi jumped out the pond and bit me on the leg woke next morning and first thing I did was to check my leg the dream felt so real.

The ponds now been filled in and its my veg patch.

I can only put it down to the fact that I have not been able to get down to the lottie as much as would have liked due to this drought we are having. Before going to bed last night, I did look out of the window & thought "this is the best part of the day".

I didn't dream last night - I hardly slept! It was so windy outside - all I could think of was whether, if I moved to the other side of the bed, I would be out of the way if the chimney stack fell onto the house.
Such thoughts do not help sleep!

I love my dreams. They are so random and bizarre but the emotions so real. My kids love to here about them as they make them laugh so much. They think I'm a bit of a fruit cake sometimes. My son once called me a latent hippy.

I rarely remember my dreams, thankfully, the ones I do remember are usually unpleasant.

There was one occasion when I woke up as a result of being bitten hard on the hand by a big dog (in my dream, of course) but the pain of being bitten took a couple of hours to dissipate. It's weird how our bodies react to artificial stimulus.
Tried and Tested...but the results are inconclusive

That's horrible, Pa! I rarely have a nightmare dream but I do sometimes believe my dream is true. As a kid, I was always dreaming that I could fly so I would jump off the table or the window ledge, flap my arms and crash to the floor. I don't believe that one any more!

last night I dreamt that I was on a charity run with Freddie Flintoff - the funny thing was I woke up with aching legs, they must have been twitching all night this from the woman that gets puffed walking down the garden, not really, but you know what I mean it's so funny

One of my pals at work told me he had a dream about me the other night. I did wonder where the conversation was going at this point.........

Apparently, he was at my allotment. (Firstly, I should say he has never been there and doesn't even know where it is as he lives 10 miles down the road).

I was using a hosepipe on my allotment in flagrant breach of the hosepipe ban to such an extent that my plot was flooded, and he was shouting and swearing at me from the other side of the fence to stop. Then he said he climbed over the fence and rugby tackled me to the ground and, to use his words, punched my lights out!!!

This chap is a good mate with whom I socialise a lot...it seems I might witter on a bit too much about the lottie, methinks!!
                            Are y'oroight booy?

I've woken up in a furious mood, despite, finally being payday, my card was declined and the till was making a really loud beeping noise. Despite me asking the shopkeeper to turn it off, she didn't and everyone in the shop was staring at me.....I then pressed the snooze button
