Thanks all, I've known for 5 weeks already, had 2 early scans (as history of ectopic), spent one day in the maternity ward as was throwing up for over 24 hours continuously (they couldn't get IV in as was too dehydrated, so had to resort to antisickness injections), got some new tablets which are helping a bit (enough to allow me to go to work anyway) but not sure I can cope with any pictures as feel too queasy for that!
Just about over the shock of it all now as it was a bit of a surprise!
Might have to call it 'slug' as the with the second scan where I saw the heartbeat at just 7 weeks, it looked like a slug!
Kerry is a familiar name - you should give a child a proper name. It looks so much better on a cheque book!
"The Kerry slug or Kerry spotted slug, scientific name Geomalacus maculosus,"
We have just told the boys that there will be a new addition. They wanted to know if we could put a snooker table in the new room - (carpets went down today - extension finally finished after 3/12 years!), so we said we thought we'd put a baby in there instead.
It took eldest son a few seconds for the penny to drop, then he Beamed!
They are very excited and are currently sorting out all their cuddly toys so that the baby can have some (but only the ones with no hard eys lol). And eldest is singing 'mummy's having a baby' over and over - CUTE!
oh and he wants it to be a boy and the littlun wants a girl so someone is going to be disappointed!
