    • I'm gutted. Healthier, but gutted. It hadn't crossed my mind until just now - not that I blame you, BoosMummy - it didn't even enter my thoughts when I made chips for the kids the other day.

      Oh gawd............end of the world.

      We're low-carbers BM, not allowed white starchy carbs since the BH was diagnosed with T2 diabetes in February. Well, I can eat them, I chose not to - but he can't as they spike his blood glucose levels through the roof.

                          • Do you know when I was a young 'en growing up in my silly days (no comments please), mi old man used to say to me: eeh lad, your as thick as 2 short planks or your as daft as a brush (very complimentary, my old man.......).......Well for one, I have no idea how thick 1 short plank is never mind 2 plus I always found brushes to be quite intelligent.......
