I'm usually late sowing/planting, but this is ridiculous.

Haven't made much of an impact on most of the April sowing stuff yet. Doesn't seem much point with the weather being as it is.

I haven't done any succession sowings cos the first lot have just sat there doing nothing, pointless starting another lot that will do the same Definitely a slow start this year.

I'm waiting now for the soil to dry a bit so I can plant out, looking around the other plots yesterday there wasn't a lot of activity for this time of year, even the pots are behind.

I've got a gh, conservatory and 2 blowaways bursting at the seams ......need to make sure there's no more frost. Plot although is clay is quite stony so drains pretty quick , but isn't very sheltered ...

My seedlings are much the same as they were three, four weeks ago. No growth to mention. I've panicked and went and bought a couple of tomato plants in B&Q because I don't want to be without! Or is it not too late to sow more?
It's frustrating, because the weeds on the allotment have already been mowed twice, but my veg aren't putting on any growth!

way behind too. My tomatoes are a quarter of the size they usually are, hardly any peppers/chillies came up [must invest in a heated prop] and the sweet peas and peas are being battered into next week.

Haven't so much as sown a seed for the last two years.

Health, and house-move have been the major factors. The weather has't helped, as when it's pleasant I've been tending other folks' gardens, and have no enthusiasm for my own in the evenings. Now we've moved, things are no-where near organised enough. We have the space, but we're starting a business, so any spare time and energy is going into that at the moment.

But, next year will be AMAZING!
