Well I am dissapointed to the turnout to the midday dance competition so Maid Lottie wins by default
You would think at least one of the maiden hobbits would have been there, they can walk under poles lower than .................

Don't know yet - its a bit early to spot them. There are still unexplored bits and the water courses make it difficult to walk around in a straight line - so I keep getting lost!! Its so exciting
Has it been grazed by anything other than woodland creatures?"A life lived in fear is a life half lived."
PS. I just don't have enough time to say hello to everyone as they join so please take this as a delighted to see you here!

(I may be able to help) and I can deffinitely help if you need Meadow Sweet or Flags if you're intending to do a bit of careful management along water courses.

No grazing that I know of! Its all tree cover.

The neighbouring wood has marsh marigolds and orchids (narrow leaved helleborine - I've been told, if I remember rightly). I'll probably ask the County Naturalist out to do an inspection and see what they find. Also I'll give it a year to assess what is there before I introduce anything. If you have any free time, come over and have a look.

To keep this place a secret haven
Let the naturalist do their work
But make sure they ain't no jerk
I have foxgloves aplenty in my garden
For quickening of the heart it is a good'n
I'll save thee some seeds at the end of the season,
We'll scatter em all under watch of the Green Man
