There was this bright shiny thing up in the sky. It was there all day and it didn't rain. What does it mean? What happens if it's the same again tomorrow?

Sun here yesterday, but it's gone
Whether you think you can or whether you think you can't, you are probably right.

No sun yesterday, no sun today.

Is this they reason why when they measured my height before my op I had lost half an inch?

No sun here yesterday, and very dull right now, but have watered all the pots because "they" say it will be 21 degress by the pm!

Sorry guys if I worried you with the title of the thread. Guess it shows how my sense of humour works. I still have one even after all my problems with the Council which is maybe just as well. I have wilted on occasion but the sun making an appearance has been such a boost, second only to the support from the forum.

Strangely enough, AP, the title didn't worry me at all - I thought it was your tongue in cheek way of announcing good news!! Have a sunshiny day!! Its here today too.

Thanks to that big shiny yellow thing I now have bright red shoulders!

I intended leaving the greenhouse window open this morning but forgot...eek...my lettuces, redcurrant bush and parsnips have all gone limp. Not surprising really, it was 40°C in there when I got home twenty minutes ago.

Are you sure you didn't imagine it ABP? No bright shiny things in the sky here for a few days.
