Beetroot seeds. I must be doing something wrong, 'cos they're always labelled "easy to grow" and I can't get the bu@@ers to come up! Recently purchased...30kg compost, 16 Morrisons' flower buckets, 8 springy clip things and a partridge in a pear tree.Tried and Tested...but the results are inconclusive

Me? I've bought a solar panel to keep the Chooks' leccy fence battery charged, and two sets of genuine cartridges for my printer, for less than the cheap ones.
Oh, and a new Rugger ball for the Dawg! (All from my favourite auction site.)

I have just given it a real pruning before it comes into leaf in the hope of getting some regeneration and the tree not having to work as hard getting water and nutrients higher up. If this doesn't work I'll replace it next year with something else.
