Two Hop plants as I'm taking part in the Cardiff Hops project. Hops will be grown in gardens and on plots throughout the city. Come harvest time we all bring our hops to a microbrewery and its turned into ale. I have until 17th March to decide where to plant them

The ideal size for the interior of a pizza oven is 700mm diameter, the height needs to be 2/3rds of its diameter. Will be building mine finally in a couple of weeks as soon as it warms up a little. So thats about 27.5", the door though is generally narrower.

OH has been talking about building one since we moved in (about 4 years ago!) but we only just had the garden turned into something other than a small building site later autumn just gone so maybe he'll be inspired to actually do it now!

Right, back on topic over the weekend I got a new min/max thermometer (as the max on mine was broken!), an auto vent for the GH and some capillary matting.

Next time I'm going past A*di I am definitely getting one of those sieves!

I would love to take it back but I didn't keep the packaging and can't find the receipt. Having said that I probably paid by credit card so may have a record of a transaction somewhere.... having said that I doubt it was the only item I got at the time so it will be hard to prove that is the actual one!

Will pop it in the car and next time I go to the GC I'll ask them about it... thanks for the reminder!

This is one topic I have researched to death over the last couple of years, so if you want any advise when it comes to actually doing it let me know. Its a lot more technical that meets the eye. The inside temperature will reach in excess of 500 degrees celsius. To ensure the outside doesn't also get too hot, you build it up in a number of specific layers.
