I use the Weather Channel ~ not sure who provides their info, but they are the most accurate I've seen

A low of 7c this week, which is fine

For my area... Met-office reckon 7°C and Netweather reckon 6°C as night-time minimums.
Tried and Tested...but the results are inconclusive

Here in the South East the forecast for Hastings given by 1066 Weather is 4 C on Monday night (read early Tuesday morning), but is 10 C from the BBC for the Hastings area. So, I'm unsure about what's going to happen. To err on the safe side I'll delay planting my sweetcorn seedlings out till Tuesday/Wednesday. I suggest others do the same with the chill sensitive plants including the curcurbits, tomatoes & peppers.

Well it raining heavily here now, and that wasn't forecast!

Mind you, the OH (or weather adict!) firmly believes that when the weather predictors change shift they look at the last shift's predictions and say "oh no, that's wrong" and change the forecast.

Hence its gonna rain (or be sunny, or cold) when you check at 9am, but when you check again at midday its changed, and when you check again at 6pm its back to what it was originally! AND they quickly update it from "not raining til Sunday" to "raining now" when they see its raining!!!

Maybe we should have a weather witch in the wood??
If the river hasn't reached the top of your step, DON'T PANIC!

Really heavy rain in Carmarthenshire at the mo - the first for well over a week! Plants being watered, rainwater tank for the loos and water butts being refilled. Wet but happy!!

Raining heavy here too. Planted courgettes and squash at lottie this afternoon. Rain was forecast so I didn't water in. Soil already moist from recent rain.

Harumph, just checked several sites - lows ranging from 7 to 3. Makes a bit of a difference there... Oh well, I've brought all the tender things in anyway.

I am sure that the BBC radio forecast mentioned possible frost tonight in the north. Must pay attention when it comes on again.
