  • Beware Sunday Night!

Mods, this can be deleted after Sunday.

Not sure about where you live but the temp here is gonna get down to 1 degree on Sunday night.......... Just thought you may want a heads up.

So, do I leave my greenhouse door open for a few days while I'm not here, or close it? You're just trying to make me worry

Metcheck are saying it will drop to 1c, but the BBC are saying 6c. I'm more inclined to believe the BBC, because Metcheck has been all over the place recently and their only reliable forecast seems to be over the next 24 hours rather than a few days in advance.

VC, your forecast will be vastly different to the one for Leeds I would guess?

Must remember to close the door on the little stayput. My poor toms that are now outdoors will have to fend for themselves.

I only use the met office forecast, they are the most accurate... Minimum low for Sunday and Monday says 10 degrees for my region.

For metcheck read 'sillycheck' ....was saying -3 and 3 deg in the daytime for this sunday! when they say 365 mph winds and -35 during the day you have to wonder!!!!

I am quite worried though as other sites are saying very COLD!!!! BBC (met office based) seem to be the only ones saying above +5.........eeeeek, double eeeeek
How to cover 35 pumpkins...6 rows of tall potatoes, 3 wigwams of beans.....and how many tomatoes!!!!!!
Over the preceding weeks I closely checked the extended forecasts before planting out!!! then they did not show any signs of less than +6 and mostly + 9 and above. grrrrrrrrrrr double grrrrrrrrrrr

Our forecast is for minimum 7 and 8 degrees for a few days from Sunday, so cooler than of late but not disastrous I hope
