You concentrate on what you do best LD! I wouldn't know where to start making and icing a Wedding cake and as for sewing......... So probably the only bit of me that works is my mind and my imagination!!
I'll tell you the answer to this but only if you don't tell the others how its done!!

You count the number of letters = 16. And 16 = 4 x4 (4 is the square root)
So divide the 16 letters into 4 groups of 4 letters like this:-
WKTL / EETO / LLIT / IOES
Then write them one on top of the other, like this:

Then you read down the columns, instead of across to get
WELIKELOTTIELOTS - and you can work out for yourself what that means!!

8th June Puzzle

Imagine that the sun is shining and you have decided to walk to your allotment to plant some rare, heritage seeds. Rather than take the packet, you pour the seeds into a small, round, plastic airtight container - a bit like the 35mm film canisters or a small tablet bottle. You also put in your pocket your trowel, some string for tying up the beans, a bottle of water and a bar of chocolate.
Just as you reach the allotment, you trip over and the contents of your pocket tumble out - the seed container falls straight down into a 1 foot deep pipe with a diameter that is just larger than that of the seed container.
Using only your trowel, string, bottle of water and bar of chocolate, how would you retrieve your seeds.

My 1st reaction would be to pour the water down the pipe and hope that the seed container was air tight and floats to the top............
