Thanks for the pics Nick. Just gorgeous. I'm off up Loch Lomond tomorrow, and visit to Crarea Gardens - mostly rhoddies, camelias, magnolias and their ilk. Will try to get a few good pics.

From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs.

For the last few weeks we have been visiting Glentress in the Tweed valley. It has beautiful scenery and is teeming with wildlife. All you can hear are the river and the birds. Gorgeous.

Cuckoo Flower Nick - also called Milk Maids. Latin name is Cardamene Praetense. Not showing off. 30 years married to a man whose hobby is botany does rub off a bit!

Thanks Flum, don't be apologetic - knowing stuff is good, specially when you share

Thanks Flum, What I know about wild flowers you could write on a midges private parts in big letters So ta for that I'll alter the title on the photo. It had a really faint pinky blush that doesn't really show up on the foto.

Go Advanced, scroll down a bit, click 'manage attachments', box opens, top box says 'Upload file from computer', to the right it says 'Browse', click that and it opens your 'My Computer' box so you can hunt for it. Find file, click open and it'll appear in the 'attachments' box. Then click 'Upload' next to 'Browse', and that should do it...?

However, Paulottie, as it's telling you your file is too big you need to use your photo software to resize it. You'll have something called photoshop or photopaint or something - may have come with your camera. Resize is usually under tools. Don't forget to save it with a different name or it will overwrite your original and you'll only have the little copy.

Here you go Paulottie try this software it's really easy to use ( must be I use it) and its free

                              http://www.rw-designer.com/picture-resize

Down load the exe file and you just name it what size you wan t to give you 100kb file size (PhotoResize800.exe should be about right but iff you want it bigger rename to PhotoResize900.exe)

Sorry, it's not the pics I'm looking for. I've got good pics of places I like to go but they're on my other computer ( How many computers do we need )
                                Your garden looks beautiful Alice.

Like you, my best pics are on the other computer, but here are two of places we like to walk locally - the comical one with OH and daughter is at the Greenway, Stratford on Avon. It's a stretch of old railway line which has been renovated to provide off road cycling and walking and is an absolute gem of a place. There is even a cafe which has been set up in some old train carriages; they do the best bacon sarnies.

The other picture is of Burton Dassett hills in Warwickshire, which is also a very lovely country park (the best place to fly a kite) well worth a visit if other grapes are in the area.
