this is my favourite local viewing spot a couple minutes walk from where i live, the first is looking North towards Much Marcle the other is the same place but looking west towards Wales and the black mountains.

Went for a walk at Hartshill Hayes today to see the bluebells. As if NTG hasn't seen enough of these! Thought I might have seen him and the Natch....

Just absolutely gorgeous Hazel. Thanks for letting us see it. I find the beauty of bluebells difficult to capture on a pic but you've done it beautifully.

Thanks, Alice - they were so fabulous, I couldn't go wrong! Normally mum, her dog and I end up at Hartshill Hayes on the bank hol at the end of May and miss all the bluebells - so we were determined to get it right this year!

Browsing through some old pictures and found these off the Valley Gardens in Windsor Great Park, Called IIRC the Devils Punchbowl - Azaleas taken in July.

They were particularly good this year and the smell was nice as well wasn't it. I'll tip you off next year as well if I remember

lol, just above these were loads of flowering camelias and rhodo's - stunning, and apart from the car park cost the grounds are free to walk in, you do have to pay to get in Savil gardens but it is stunning as well, tip no dogs allowed in Savil gardens (except in the restaurant )
