  • Lost Doggy

To top it all this morning, my Mother's wee dog has gone missing. If you live or know someone in the Raunds area of Northamptonshire please would you ask them to keep an eye out? The APs have only had Benji a few weeks and they are distraught. They've phoned the Police, Their Vet, the Dog Warden and local animal shelters. Benji is microchipped so hopefully they'll have him back soon.

Get them to contact their local radio station too - they can be extremely helpful.

Excellent idea! Have just tried to phone them but no one's home - hopefully they've gone to collect the wee dog from somewhere.

Oh, how awful! I would be heartbroken to have any of my pets go missing. Hopefully Benji will be back home safe and sound very soon.

Get his details up on this organisation which operates nationwide

DogLost - Reuniting Lost Dogs With Their Owners

I found the owners of a dog I found in my garden and reunited them/dog within hours to the very relieved owners!

Quark, will do that right now.

No answer from the APs so I think they must be out searching again. Last spoke to Mum at about 2pm and they hadn't found him then.

My father is, of course, planting the blame firmly on my mother. She's in a right state. Ironically, it's their 57th wedding anniversary today......

Found him! A lady along the road took him in, told her daughter to phone the vets to say they had him and went off to work. Seems the daughter forgot so they vets didn't know until 5pm.......the vets decided to break protocol and told the lady that my APs were three houses away. The young girl didn't even notice the parents' shouting and they went passed the house a dozen times.

But ANYWAY he was safe and spoiled all day, had a wonderful time playing with their little dog too!

Thanks for all the brilliant suggestions peeps! My DD has Benji posted everywhere - even BBC Northampton. The Northants Scouting Network were on the look out, FaceAche, Twitter (Thanks Wayne!) You name it, they knew.....

Great news - especially after the less than happy events re Mousey.
