  • Lost Children?

Have you ever lost/left a child behind somewhere supermarket, pub shops?

The camerons left their daughter behind in a pub and didnt miss her for 15 minutes.
How could they do that and where were the security staff?
Surley if theres a child seat empty then that would/should throw up some questions.

BBC News - David Cameron's daughter Nancy left behind at pub

They both assumed the child was going with the other since they have to travel in separate cars.

I wonder what else our dear PM has forgotten. Perhaps he misplaced my tax return form?

I was 'lost' in a small supermarket when I was about 4. My grandma clearly wasn't used to shopping with a child.

Never got over it now that I come to think about it!

Why do they have to travel in separate cars? Are they royalty or something?

I can see how each of them thought she was with the other parent and I think *if we all had two cars and a posse of staff to bring us home from the pub*, it's a mistake anyone could make.
I was feeling part of the scenery
I walked right out of the machinery
My heart going boom boom boom
"Hey" he said "Grab your things
I've come to take you home."

Actually, I left my baby daughter (now 42) in her pram outside a local very small supermarket. I got halfway along the road home before I realised I was missing something

And it happened a couple of months ago so isn't really news - did feel sorry for the poor kid though being saddled with a name like Nancy!

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

I once got lost in Coats & 'Ats when I was about 5. I didn't know whether my mum was relieved or furious when I was found.

Did I ever tell you about the little girl who wandered off from her parents on Scarborough beach? They were distraught as they were looking for her and Himself was quite the hero as he had noticed her zig zagging along on her own and had not taken his eyes off her, so could guide her dad to where she was.

I tried, ok? I tried soooo hard.......but people kept bringing the little terrors back to me. Fifteen years or more later, and I still can't get rid of them.

I have a Tee which reads 'Who are these kids? And why do they keep calling me Mum?'

They'll still keep coming back when you think you've got rid of them Jules and they bring more baggage with them.
