I remember catching dabs when I was little - we used to crawl along on hands and knees in the creek and fling them onto the bank when we found one! One of the young ones would pick them up and shove them in a bucket of water.

That was before I discovered what being squeamish was all about!
Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

Swimming, patchwork, pitch&putt, bingo, pub quiz, or helping in the local charity shops.

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

If we are still on the subject of hobbies. Become a train station 'adopter'. Make it look nice, with flower n clean; form a group and share a free train pass.
Thats of course if you live near a station and it hasnt already got one.

              An 11 wood...really?! Isn't that just a slivver ?!

Some brilliant courses in north wales, never been golfing in Steve's NOTW though, but sure there's some gems there.

My hobbies (enjoy em all but, if pushed, in descending order of enjoyment): allotment, brewing, golf, snooker, quiz league.
