best thoughts - it sounds flippant - but do your best to distract your mind away from this?
meditate, run, focus on silly sounds - radiator humming - whatever - your mind is powerful and will produced stuff from the thoughts you feed it - you can't stop thought, but you can focus on other thoughts - best of thoughts to you x

I didn't want to read and run Lettuce'. Although everything appears to have been said, I want to wish you the best outcome. Don't be alone, stay on the vine, there are some fab people here.
Whether you think you can or whether you think you can't, you are probably right.

Everyone is different - I tell my clients When you read something on the internet and it scares you, phone me because I can tell you whether it is even a problem for you or not.

What I find when things like this happen is to just get back into your life and immerse yourself in it - I almost missed my appt as I was so busy with life and family. Sometimes tho it makes you a little more aware of how much goodness there is in your life and that's not a bad thing to be reminded of.

It'll be a case of dipping through the gardening books again TS. I've got a Polytunnel book that I can't seem to concentrate on much at the moment, hopefully after the 2nd I will be able to. I always feel like I've been slugged after anaesthesia so probably wil end up drifting through sleep. Mr VVG is good at cooking so he will look after me there. It's the polytunnel and greenhouse I worry about. Daughter has been shown the ropes and she is pretty good at remembering to do stuff.

Thanks everyone, I'm sure we will both be fine. I don't want to hijack Lettuce's thread, I was merely trying to show that she wasn't alone in going through a mini storm. Bit of comfort and all that. To all those who have battled the weather and come through the other side WELL DONE and thanks for showing it can be done!
