Lorry drivers. Driving 3 a breast in torrential downpours does not make other drivers on the road think you are cool and trendy - it just makes you look like complete ******s.

Drivers of cars. Driving the wrong way down roads in torrential downpours and not bothering to look out of any of your windows, just because you see a parking space on the other side of the road; does not make other drivers on the road think you are cool and trendy - it just makes you look like complete ******s.

Drivers of cars. Reversing into a main road, at 90 degrees to the two lanes of incoming traffic in torrential downpours and not bothering to look out of any of your windows; does not make other drivers on the road think you are cool and trendy - it just makes you look like complete ******s.

Drivers of all vehicles. Tailgating in torrential rain, when it is highly likely that the driver in front is likely to want to slow down due to floods of water in the middle of the roads ; does not make other drivers on the road think you are cool and trendy - it just makes you look like complete ******s.

I have never seen such bad bad driving as this morning's shenanigans. I am buying a camera and posting your appalling driving on the interweb. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

My rant? Ready? Yup - Drivers!!! Put your chuffin' lights on - it's p!$$!ng down out there and visibility is very poor! Slow down - it's p!$$!ng down and the roads are slippery and/or flooded! Look where the chuff you are going, not back down the road you're just pulling out of. Good job I could see you, innit!?

Jeez - what a day of ranting...so there's the drivers above.

Aunt Irma - thanks so much for the 4th visit in a month. Srsly - naff off luv. Preceded by a humongous headache. Great.

Slugs - all over my lettuce and found a six inch [yes, six inches long] one wandering casually towards the lettuce bed. Well, I hope you enjoy the swim in the canal you ******s.

Rain - I know it's the jet stream, but seeing photos of fantastic summers in places where I could have ended up living is just making me very angry. Angry Janice angry - which is 'quite' angry. Like Aunt Irma, naff off eh? It's not funny any more.

Neighbours - yes I know you have a house to renovate. But any time we get to sit down our ears are being mullered by the drilling right into the wall where we seem to be sitting. Can't even hear the radio. Most annoying. Dare I say naff off?

Because most Scots don't feel that the Union flag represents them? Which I wouldn't blame 'em for. I don't feel like it represents me either...


My rant: tennis. Suddenly my OH is very interested in it, because it's an over-privileged Brit/Scot that's doing well. But he's never been interested in tennis before, so what difference does it make what nationality of players are playing? If you're into a sport, you watch it regardless, if you aren't interested, then don't watch it. Simples.

And that's another thing.....

I was hoping for a lie-in today after 4 really really intensive days of a course, and a bad day a't'mill yesterday - and lo and behold, 8am the house next door who have spent 3 weeks every evening digging out the floors turned up with a cement mixer full of concrete right slap bang outside my bedroom window.
