Minor Rant Thread part 6

Son who can't be bothered putting plates in the dishwasher or even out of his room usually. Who leaves spoons cups whatever all over the kitchen comes out and decides that the kitchen and dining room table should be kept clear now.
He's pretty ticked now because it didn't go down well telling me that when I had to pack his stuff into the dishwasher the other night when I came home after most of the day and the evening out of the house. And no, I couldn't just take the suggestion and say 'yes, what a flippin bluddy great idea'.

OMG soooo frustrated today! Went online to look at jobs - I had a quick look and registered on the site about 6 months ago. Today it won't accept my username. But when I try to re-register it tells me someone else is using that email addrress! Someone else is NOT using it, because you won't let 'someone else' in - I know because that's who I am!

So in total frustration went to open another email account.........well that was a mistake wasn't it. It won't even let me send myself emails! It also says that I can't use my phone number as verification (not that I wanted to - it insisted) but it tells me that phone number is not correct - how would it know? Did it try to ring me? For goodness sakes, I know what my phone number is and I don't need a computer program telling me I don't! AAAARRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHH!

I'll just go back now and see if I can have another go shall I? Oh and the computer is refusing to change pages unles I shut the page and re-open it............I'm afraid to go outside and see what happens to me there!

So two weeks ago I break my little toe. I do as I'm told and spend my time slouched on the sofa, foot propped up.

Now I still have a bit of pain in the toe plus a huge amount in my leg as the bulging disc in my back has thanks to the slouching on the sofa. Pants.

Gawd people getting the wrong end of the stick when I post a piccy of some nearby 'road safety improvements' and say something about the cycle lane.
And what's worse they forget that I spent some time crossing my lad there to primary school so I know just how awful the crossing is.
(I really get cross when people say "If you had to cross there" etc... COS I DID)
I think - for the record - the cycle lane is a stupid idea on that road and adds nothing to the safety side of the scheme.

I do like cycle lanes but on 40mph roads that no one sticks to the speed limit on I think cyclists are better off on the pavement (which is 12 ft wide!)

Gawd. Out of my system now. Perhaps not a minor rant.

Have to work Sunday starting at 7.00am and need to get a long run in for my training. No way am I hitting the road at 4.00am sunday then doing a shift. Like wise, not relishing doing a shift then a long run!
