You have got your parcels mixed up and sent me thermal vests (used, yuck) when I ordered a silky scarf. I am perfectly willing to send the bleddy things back to you but I need an address. It's raining, it's pouring, now it's flooding! Local burn has become blocked! (thankfully homes are now protected). Oh and to the man in his twenties driving a shiny, new 4x4. If a woman old enough to be your mum (me) can walk through water about a foot deep then your 4x4 can easily drive through. He is probably still sitting there wondering what to do.

No,he was probably being quite sensible & looking in the owners manual to find the safe wading depth for the particular vehicle (mine is 18"),none of them are invincible when it comes to water.He who smiles in the face of adversity,has already decided who to blame

Got to get this off my chest or I won't sleep.
How can someone tell you that you're good at your job but then say that you wouldn't betheir first choice if I applied for that job because I lack confidence.
Yes I know I lack confidence but your not exactly forthcoming with helpful advice or direction about how to do the job.
Why did you feel the need to tellme all this in front of a room full of people.
You need to get some management and people skills.
