Minor Rant Thread part 6

Our neighbours had Ocado at 8:15 this morning. Lots of shouting, high pitched cackle (swear she's a witch) and their damned dogs barking for the whole time she was flirting with the driver. One day she's gonna get karma when I can think of a suitable revenge. We endured their endless flow of building lorries for nearly eighteen months and subsequent building racket from 8:30 until 4:30 every day, including weekends. Some folk are just plain evil!

Why is it all Murray, Murray, Murray when Jonny Marray and Freddie Nielsen are in the doubles final this year. Doubles is much more entertaining.

Chatted with a man on t'interweb who came up with a fab solution to installing water butt under neighbour's guttering, even sent me personal pictures, but ............... so far 7 different places cannot come up with the vital part !!!

It's been nice and warm here all day - sunny as anything. Checked the rain today website - no sign of anything. So why, when I put 6 plants on a tray to plant in the garden, do the heavens open as soon as I put the first one in?

I think - it's only a shower - there was nothing on the rain today scan - and 5 mins later am drenched to the bone.

They're still playing the same old tricks, and should at least by now, have a small inkling that not only do they not work, but they are boring, and highly likely to result in me never ever going back or helping again. Snail found in my coldframe. Mr VVG just patrolled the tunnel and found another fifteen slimies. They have just died in salt! I'm enjoying doing this now

Noisy Neighbours!

Fine, you wanna party, I'm not complaining, live and let live. However, your music has been getting steadily louder, and, whilst it's great music, really, it IS, if you were to shut the chuff up, or shove the Karaoke microphone right up your chuff (to save me a ten minute round trip to do it for you), it would be so much better, and I would be a lot happier!

I need to go to bed, and it is far too hot to close the windows...













OK, I admit, that whilst, yes, I'm cross, there's a littl bit of the green-eyed monster. I'm married to someone who doesn't particularly like crowds (neither do I) and he also doesn't like going to Gigs. I'm suffering serious withdrawal from way back when I used to drink loads - ya can't beat a good LOUD LIVE GIG!!!!!

Went to Hampton court flower show yesterday. I hired a mobility scooter for my BH because shes having problems with her knees.
How inconsiderate are people they either cant see her or dont want to see her.
They wouldnt get out of the way whilst trying to go through the floral marquee and its not likewe wanted to look at all the stands but a little consideration would have been nice. And its not like they wouldnt be able to see over her head if she was at the front, when shes sat down dont think she reaches 5 feet high.

I got very cross with some people when they tutted and started making comments.

Dont know if we'll go again coz her knees will only get worse.

IF the recycle bag is full, put it in the recycle container, outside. DON'T just squeeze more items in, thus splitting the bag, and spilling the contents over the floor for me to pick up. You lazy G!T!

Oh, and whilst I'm ranting. People who overreact after skip-reading an innocent comment, then get the wrong end of the stick, and go on to start a witch hunt. If you go back, and re-read the comment properly, you will see that the original poster is actually of the same opinion that you are. You idiot!

My rant , at me I clearly know more than a specialist so I went to the plot with the intention of wandering, I ended up helping one of the old boys put in a new fence post (I was the monkey) another one shift some coo poo and weeded the tunnel, with the result my arm is now gouping(very sore) and I cant sleep and am going to have to take some painkillers

Email account has been suspended!!

Called BT customer support and they said they'd noticed that my account had been compromised and although I'd changed my password it was still unsafe. Couldn't they have called or texted me?

This has "been escalated to their 'level 2' team", however they are now closed. They do have to speak to me to get the account activated and will call me back. I'm at work tomorrow and out in the evening, so will have to be Wed after work.
