people. just people in general and their self destructive ways that you just can't stop. no wonder i want to move to a different country where i won't know the nuances, but where i will miss people deliberately trying to kill themselves.

We've just donated another £25 to the CE's bonus, because they won't refund advance tickets (the London meeting was cancelled, and we aren't going to stand up for 8 hrs just to use the tickets.)

We also aren't allowed to sell them to anyone else, eg. on eBay

I feel guilty now - I have about 150 in my greenhouse I'm growing for chilli day and about another 40 all for me.

My rant. Can't get new phone to talk to btinternet. AARRGGHH.

People who over-complicate things;

The easy way;
Farmer copies number off advert on wall, into mobile phone, and rings my Husband to arrange job.
Total = 1 phone call.

The Gentleman Farmer's way;
Farmer asks friend of mine to contact me, to get my Husband to contact him, with regard to servicing said Farmer's Daughter's Trailer. So, my friend sends me a text, and I send my Husband a text, then my Husband calls Farmer. He is then given the number of Farmer's ex-Wife, where the trailer is stored. My Husband then calls the Farmer's ex-Wife, to confirm time and date of arrangement.
Total = 2 text messages + 2 phone calls.

Farmer then goes to stables, expecting to see me, and to give me the money for the work, for me to give to my Husband. As Farmer doesn't want to go to his ex-Wife's house (which is much nearer to his), to hand over the money directly to my Husband (who, ironically, will just hand it to me anyway!).

No doubt his visits will not coincide with mine for a few days, so we will, inevitably, wait up to a week to be paid.

Good job the ex-Wife then decided to have her trailer serviced at the same time!

S*dding fussy Dog! Has decided he doesn't like his dry food, but will happily eat raw meat/bones/whatever as per a wild animal. That's fine, if costly, however, I have 7/8 of a very expensive sack of the dry food in the cupboard. So, this evening, I have given him half his usual amount, and mixed it in with half a tin of regular dog food, which I bught specially, and which I don't happily feed, as I believe it is about as good for him as MacSh!te-burgers are for me. What is he doing?

He's picking out all the bl**dy dry food! FFS!
