Feral I'm so sorry about this and its not a Minor Rant. I hadn't heard of 1080 bait before but having Goggled I found a petition aimed at banning it. I've signed and I hope others will too. Its barbaric.

My Rant - 1080 Bait

It's not pretty VC. Left work to meet the kids at the vet. Found the two 19 yo's trying to hold a fitting dog so the vet can administer 3 types of drugs IV, and a 14 yo looking at the ceiling because she can't bear to watch. It's not a pretty sight watching a dog fitting continuously. Our vet is lovely tho. Son said I think there's something wrong with our dog. And I think it's serious! And then had to drive with the fitting dog thru the roo's and wombats.
Not a rant (sorry) but love that the vet is more interested in saving the animal than worrying about when we'll be able to pay the bill.

And I still want to kill (but torture first) the 1080 baiters. I don't care if it's legal. Its inhumane

My rant seems a little insignificant now.




But if they don't stop with the ruddy jet-washer thinggy, very soon, I may just cross the road and shove it somewhere. Three days in a row, all day long. It's a block-paved driveway, not a ruddy operating theatre table FFS!

Having to unravel 1875 stitches or 4 balls or 100cm by 25cm of knitting. The entire shawl collar of my sweater......it's too tight and doesn't sit properly. Heaven only knows when I will be able to re-knit it......meh.

My friend's just had her labrador's stomach pumped because someone put a neat pile of offal in the park this weekend. Could have been poisoned, perhaps not.

There was an incident of poisoning in our village a few months ago. Luckily one of the Dog walkers warned me. Sadly one resident had already lost their poor Dog.

Grow Your Own Magazine - AVAILABLE IN ALL GOOD NEWSAGENTS. Asda, Tesco, Sainsbury's and Morrisons aren't newsagents, they're supermarkets. WH Smith doesn't know what it is. A good newsagent is a little corner shop where the staff know your name and can tell you where to find the magazine you want before you even ask them. Sadly put out of business by the likes of Asda, Tesco, Sainsbury's and Morrisons.

Bl**dy teatime sales calls from 'abroad' I've opted out, we're ex-directory etc etc but we still get them. It's not a sales call (yeah, right) we're just asking questions (yeah right) and your name, young man, is not Pamela Ward!!
