    Thank darling! She was very sympathetic, perhaps I should have said. Sort of lulled you into a false sense of hope.

    Rant: Loved ones who snitch you up to the doctor. Yesterday the BH snitched. He told the Diabetic Nurse at his check up and the DN told one of the doctors, who then phoned me immediately. That someone cared enough to do that reduced me to tears. I have an appointment to see him and he will refer me. The DN also phoned in the afternoon to see how I was - she's not brilliant with Diabetes (she firmly toes the NHS line, disapproves of us Low Carbers) but she has suffered depression and knows her stuff there. They want me to take the mildest of anti-depressants to lift the feelings of impending doom. I will think about it.

        Research the side effects of the med they are suggesting to be safe.

        I don't know if you eat chocolate, since you are diabetic. I did see that you are a part-time chocolatier and I thought you might interested in this:

          I'm not the diabetic, luckily. My husband is Type 2. I do eat chocolate but only a very little dark chocolate for a special treat. Mind you, I used to consume loads of chocolate, before we started low carbing, maybe it has a cumulative effect!

          I will, indeed, look carefully at the side effects; I am worried about addiction.

              Valid concern and something to discuss with your doctor in detail.

              My rant: Human Resources! I'm sure some of you are excellent at your jobs and helpful to those asking your advice about staff issues/disciplinary procedures; the rest of the power hungry, incompetence apologists on the other hand can go take a flying dive!

                • Still haven't heard about a job I did online tests and interviewed for - its been 2 weeks... I'm assuming i haven't got the job, but an email/phonecall/letter would be appreciated. They are a blumin' huge company, and I expected better from them really, given their website/hr processes etc....

Usually find her under one of the childrens' beds and because of my mahoosive bump I can't get her out again. naughty thing - thank goodness she should be allowed out again tomorrow after further check up.

                            • Deliveries that don't arrive!!!!!! I ordered something off the internet yesterday. Supposed to be delivered today by parcelforce 24. Stayed in all day!!!! No parcel!!!! I've got a tracking number for it but that's a lot of help!!! It only makes me madder to know it went on the van at 7 am this morning. Why don't they do updates? They obviously have no concept of customer service.

                              • Forgot to do this yesterday;

                                Shop assistants who ignore their customers. I know you have a captive market (F0nt@n€lla Coffee/Deli concession in Broomfield Hospital, if anyone's interested), but don't take the pee, you lowlife. There were four of us waiting whilst you chatted to your last customer. We still stood there whilst you wiped over every visible part of the ruddy coffee machine, and whilst you played 'put-and-take' with the cups and lids. However, when you decided to start chatting to your two colleagues, without even acknowledging we were there, we decided we'd waited long enough.

                                The service at the C0$t@ booth, further along, is faultless, and the Coffee is far nicer! So,
