The B******* who smashed the back window then tried to prise open the door of my car. Presumably to get at the bag of charity-destined books I'd stupidly left on the back seat (maybe they thought they were Christmas presents). There's only a month left on the MOT and the excess is worth more than the car so nothing for it but to drive around for the next month with a taped up window and door that doesn't shut properly.Comment

Neighbour returned last night who we hoped we might be able to get to feed the cats duing our unexpected trip to the UK. Sent Mr PP down to see him. He returns 3 HOURS later stuffed full of wine and foie gras and late for dinner.
The good news (yes this is the right thread) is that the neighbour is more than happy to feed OUR cats, because he already feeds Our cats. Bloody rude I think as he knows they are OUR cats.
