Waking up with a caning headache on the last most fun session of the year [making butter] and having to drive home 45 miles with it getting worse and worse and so bad that I had to go straight to bed fully clothed.

It's subsided just enough to be able to attempt some tomato soup for lunch. With paracetamol chasers.

It has all gone horribly wrong. I thought it was a little too good to be true.....

'Is that ok?' would have been a good question to ask before mixing that other dough with the stuff I've just made. The dough in the clingfilm was cinnamon salt dough..........what a waste of 2lbs fresh dough. All those ingredients......

I overheard someone saying they'd opened their car door on a cyclist yesterday. Said "I didn't see him", of course.

"Funnily" enough, it's happened to the driver before, but last time they opened their car door onto another car, and it took the door off.
They finally admitted they didn't see the cyclist because they didn't look: they "were so busy, had so much on their mind, you know, all the Xmas stuff to do".
