Another reason why companies won't come to Wales.

      Oh AP. you silly sausage.

My rant is being ill all night and I mean 'ill'. Bleurgh. Felt like someone had me head in a vice all night. But after a duvet day feeling a little better now. Well enough to get back onto studying. No rest eh?

There used to be lots of different types of fairs, like books, cd and records, computers, toys and suchlike.
We don't even get bands anymore. You always see big bands playing London, manchester, birmingham and Glasgow, but hardly ever cardiff.

And to top it all the person who ruined cardiff, rodney berman, is to receive an honour in the new years honours list.

        Aaaaaaaarrrrghhhhh

Could be the extortionate fee to cross the bridge.

                  • I'm 'all about' too susie. And I am worried that I'll end up missing a day somewhere....and that day will be the one that daughter is meant to be jumping horse!

Other rant - bluddy chook who has just started laying eggs and very reliably, is not sitting on the nest every day or two. I'm sorry we're just not doing teenage prEGGnancies here! It's just not on!

                      I do today thanks LD.

My rant - same as Suzie and Feral. Just need routine now!

It's Sunday so we should be at the lottie right now and we aren't even dressed. [Not that we can do anything there, as it's still flooded but anyway].

We need to tackle our lottie neighbour. He put up a prickly hedge and was going to put up a fence as he was going to have chickens. He then had a heart attack, so no fence [we had to build one ourselves last Easter to keep out the weeds from under the prickly area] and no chickens now. But we are still left with 30 m of prickliness. So he needs to remove it. It's torn clothes, scratches us, and we can't plant in that area due to not being able to kneel down as when he comes round to trim it [about once a year] he leaves hawthorn all over our path. It's infuriating. So we need to tackle him about it and soon.

                      He's a lovely guy but it's a lottie - not a battleground!

                      • People who buy me plant presents without checking their condition

In the summer Kissykit's future mother-in-law bought me a tayberry from the pound shop. It was dead, totally beyond redemption.
For Christmas she sent me a boxed Red Lion amarylis. Kissykit had told her I will send a pic once it flowers, so now I need to buy a new one, as the one she sent is rotten and mouldy. I can't tell her again that the pressie she bought won't grow. Hopefully I'll be able to pick a decent one up in the sales.
I could not live without a garden, it is my place to unwind and recover, to marvel at the power of all growing things, even weeds!

                        • Those few people who didn't get their recycling picked up yesterday ended up with it all over the street because of the terrible weather. Come on, you know the bins aren't going to be collected on a Sunday - you could've got it in Saturday night and put it out again tomorrow.

I know it's annoying when the bin men don't finish the street but just don't leave milk bottles and Christmas cracker gubbins etc etc all over the place. One neighbour came out, when the boys & I were collecting everything up, and explained that he didn't know what rubbish was his so he couldn't pick any of it up........ FGS

Bleddy none of it's mine mate because, luckily, we had ours collected yesterday. But I've picked it all up and put in my bins because I cannot stand to see it all over the place - especially in with my chooks.

My biggest rant about the bin men was when they had their boss come down and 'inspect' people's brown plastic recycling bins. We watched him pull tons of stuff out and leave it on the pavements.
Should have video'd it and then reported him for littering!
