I sent her back to the wood - she didn't look very happy - and there's so much doom and gloom on here at the mo, with slugs and rain etc that I wanted everyone to put on a Happy face and stop fretting
Mikey, you'd know if I had shortened your trousers because I would have used safety pins and clothes pegs, or, if I'd been trying really hard to do a good job, the wrong colour cotton!

There's only one answer for it then, I've grown in the night. I knew it wasn't a good idea to keep compost in the bedroom. By my calculations my legs are now 14 inches longer than they were yesterday.

Where I always get it, the muck heap down the road. It could be as a result of the thoroughbreds they are keeping, extra hormones in the wee that sort of thing....

Its all very unusual to be able to see my knees, when I'm wearing trousers...

There's a lot about Wotsits on this thread; one of my reasons for being quite is digging up the VC-identified Sissy Watsit so I can put it in a pot ready to move house when we finally get a buyer!

Meanwhile, how is the wood? Any trees or branches down? quite right to send the nymph back to protect her domain.....

The Wood seems to have survived the gales undamaged but it could do with a band of Merrie Men and Women with machetes to hack their way through the undergrowth. Its all grown so quickly. My couple of hours with the loppers didn't make a dent in it!

VC, our remote control has been chewed. Was that you? The usual suspect says it wasn't her, it was the puppy, but the puppy was in her box at the time of the offence
