Our house has lovely smell of elderflower and lemons at the moment as I have just set it to steep into cordial from the flowers we picked after work tonight - loads on the go so I can use some as pressies
Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.
Thats what we plan to make as its just soooo Expensive in the shops

we made elderflower cordial just over a week ago .... the mother in law came over at the weekend and had some ... she said it was lovely .... she went to sainsburys to buy some, said sainsburys one was nowhere near as nice as ours!
i'll be off to pick some more elderflowers tomorrow afternoon ....
I'm picking some tomorrow night from a nearby industrial estate, on a side road thast doesn't get much traffic so the blooms won't be covered in road fumes.
I really don't like elderflower except to look at - but I do like elderberries. I have never noticed until this year that there is a tree in the garden of a bungalow nearby in full flower, so I might be asking if I can have the berries.
There's a big elder overhanging the school's Wildlife Garden, but it's JUST out of reach. But guess who's all smug now that she's gone and bought a super-duper 2.5m ladder?
and it fits in Smartie
